Portland teams compete at 2024 Trap Nationals

Two squads from Portland competed in the USA High School Clay Target League National Championship in Mason, MI, July 10th through 14th.

 

The event included 240 teams and 1,800 individuals competing according to the association’s website. 

 

Portland’s squad 1 included Cade Watts, Mason Possehn, Ethan Perkins, Jack McBride, and Landon Voss. Squad 2 was made up of Zach Stanton, Levi Carter, Sarah Davis, Brett Boyd, and Gage Fyan.

 

On the first day of the team competition, Portland squad 1 finished in 27th place, and squad 2 sat in 114th place. 

 

Portland squad 1 finished 39th on the final day of the team event.

 

In the individual competition, Portland’s Mason Possehn finished 84th in the final day of the event.
