Portland Softball gets two wins over Bath

Portland hosted Bath on Tuesday night for a softball double header. The Raiders picked up wins in both games.


Game 1: Portland 11, Bath 9


Jayden Townsend went three for four at the plate with two triples. Rylee Miller went three for four. Bella Spitzley went three for three. Claire Lyon went two for two with a double and Autumn Reffitt added a triple.


Townsend got the win on the mound pitching five innings and Spitzley got the save pitching the final two innings striking out one.


Game 2: Portland 10, Bath 4


Spitzley got the win on the mound for Portland pitching the full seven innings with two strikeouts.


Reffitt had two homeruns in the contest. Lilly Thelen (triple) and Anastasia Seidelman (double) each had two hits for Portland. Spitzley added a triple.



The Raiders are now 13-11 on the season. They travel to Okemos on Thursday and will travel to Charlotte on Saturday to make up a rain out from earlier this year.
