Portland Cruisers Donation to Portland Troop 129

Boy Scout Troop 129 of Portland Michigan received a check of $250 from the Portland Cruisers. Boy Scout Troop 129 has had a long time relationship with the Portland Cruisers, both fostering each other various benefits. For years, the Portland Cruisers have given the Boy Scouts the opportunity for putting up a hot dog stand to sell food and drinks to participants of the August car show. This is one of the Boy Scout Troop’s largest fundraising events of the year, providing funds for the youth to be able to affordably camp and other troop equipment costs. In return, the Scouts aim to assist with setting up tents, or assisting in any way they can at the car show. The Portland Troop greatly appreciates the further donation by the Portland Cruisers, on top of allowing the Troop to sell and generate a profit at the Car show. The Portland Cruisers’s car shows serve as a great monetary contributor to several local non-profits and beneficiaries in the local community.
