Portland Boys pick up win over Eaton Rapids

The Portland High School boys basketball team hosted Eaton Rapids on Friday night. The Raiders defeated the Greyhounds 56-36.

The Raiders were led offensively by sophomore guard Dominic Novara with 17 points. Sophomore forward Christopher Battley scored 15 points, and sophomore guard Evan Gross added 14 points.

The Raiders move to 1-1 with the win. The narrowly lost their season opener to Lakewood on Wednesday 53-47.

On Friday, the Portland squad travels to Charlotte to face the 2-1 Orioles.
