Portland Baseball drops two to Eaton Rapids

On Tuesday, the Raider baseball team traveled to Eaton Rapids. The Raiders lost both games to the Greyhounds.

Game 1: ER 9 - Portland 6

This was a tough fought game with Portland leading much of the game. The Greyhounds were forced to rally late in the game to pick up the win.

Raider highlights:

· Alex Russman went 2 for 4 with an RBI

· Marc Nobis had a two RBI double

· Trent Trierweiler, Hunter Morris, Reese Townsend and Jorgen Sunday all had hits for the Raiders

· Brady Bush (4) and Nobis (2) combined for six strikeouts on the mound

Game 2: ER 4 – Portland 0

One big inning where they scored four runs was all it took for the Greyhounds in the second game of the evening. Russman and Trevor Williams both had hits for the Raiders. Trierweiler pitched the complete game, strikeout six.

Portland’s next action is on Thursday night when they host Lowell.
