PHS Baseball take two from Fowlerville

The Portland Varsity Baseball team took two from the Fowlerville Gladiators on Thursday night at Portland.

In game one, Marc Nobis got the win on the mound throwing six innings while Paul Roberts threw one. The Raiders saw hits from Caden Thelen, Evan Thelen, Marc Nobis, Barrett Brennan & Brady Krause.

In game two the bats started off firing right away and the Raiders had a combined nine hits! Junior Marky Meyers saw his first Varsity homerun. Brody

Moore was 3-3, C. Thelen 2-2, Marky Meyers 2-2 while Marc Nobis & Evan Thelen each recorded a hit. Caden Thelen was on the pitcher’s mound for four innings, allowing three hits, one run while striking out three.

The Varsity will play the next three games at home! Monday (4/24) against Lakewood, Tuesday (4/25) against Lansing Catholic Central (league play) and Thursday (4/27) against Williamston.
