Lady Raiders open season with win over Laingsburg

On Tuesday night, the defending State Champion Portland High School girls basketball team traveled to Laingsburg for the regular season opener.

Portland defeated the Wolfpack 57 to 16.

The Lady Raiders were led by senior Ashley Bower with 18 points. Seniors Ava Guilford and Breckyn Werner each added nine points.

Laingsburg was led by junior Ellie Baynes with seven points.
