Jeremiah Martin to continue baseball career at Ancilla College

Portland High School senior Jeremiah Martin recently confirmed his decision to play baseball at Ancilla College next year.

Martin played varsity basketball for one year, football for two years and baseball for two years at PHS.

Martin told the Beacon, “I chose to attend Ancilla because I went on a visit in early January, coach Bickel and the staff at Ancilla made it feel like home. They also have what I need to succeed academically.”

Martin also said, “I want to thank my parents, coaches, teammates and staff members in the school who pushed me these last 4 years to be the best student-athlete I could be.”

Located in Oldenburg, Indiana, the Ancilla College Charger athletic programs compete as a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
