What questions do you have for school board candidates?

This November, seven candidates will be on the ballot for three seats on the Portland Public School Board of Education. The top three vote getters will serve a six-year term on the board.

In the coming days, the Beacon will be reaching out to these candidates with a set of questions about their experience and qualifications.

If you have a question you would like asked of these candidates, please email it to jim@theportlandbeacon.com no later than Tuesday, September 15th.

The election date is November 3rd, but absentee ballots will be mailed out starting September 25th. Our plan is to ask the same questions to each of the candidates and have their answers published before the end of September.
