Rosier Leads Portland Cross Country Team at Lakewood

Senior Carter Rosier reached his goal of breaking 20 minutes for 5,000 Meters in his first race of the season on Wednesday at the Lakewood Invitation. Rosier placed 11th out of 51 runners with a time of 19 minutes, 28.5 seconds. Six other Raider runners followed Rosier to the finish line. Junior Ben Wasmus with a time of 25:35; Freshman Devin Spitzley 25:37; Sophomore Ethan Rockey 25.44; Freshman Mathew Seavey 26:59; Sophomore Austin Schneider 33:37; and Brycen DeShane 33:57.

The Raider Girls also competed at Lakewood. They were led by Sophomore Valarie Hoppes 25:15; Maya Estell 26:11; Alyssa Jack 28:56; Destiny Foltz 32:50; Ellie Pung 33:24; and Teagan Lathers 34:29.
