Dana Hengesbach Receives Recognition

The Portland City Council presented a framed certificate of appreciation to Dana Hengesbach tonight for her work as an AmeriCorp VISTA volunteer for Portland Downtown over the past two years. Tina Conner-Wellman, DDA Director gave glowing praise to Dana's efforts. Americorp VISTA members are part of a national service program where volunteers take on assignments in community-based organizations. Dana has provided more than 4,000 hours of service work to Portland Downtown and will be concluding her assignment with Portland Downtown next week.
