MDOT has multiple projects on I-96 near Portland this weekend

The Michigan Department of Transportation is planning multiple lane and ramp closures on I-96 near Portland in the coming days.

There will be single lane closures on both eastbound and westbound I-96 near Grand River Ave. west of Portland starting at 7:00 AM on 6/7 and ending at 5:00 PM on 6/10.

Both ramps at Portland Road will be closed from 8:00 PM on 6/6 to 5:00 AM on 6/4.

Eastbound I-96 from Sunfield Hwy. to Cutler Rd. will see intermittent right lane closures from 6/7 through 6/10.

Both ramps at Kent Street will be closed from 8:00 PM 6/5 through 5:00 AM on 6/6.
