“News Break” App Offers Local News from Multiple Sources, Including The Portland Beacon

I recently discovered a great app that provides local news from a variety of sources in one smart phone app. “News Break” is a free app available for download in both the Apple Store and Google Play.

Once installed and you have set your location, you can receive notifications and daily newsletters that include a collection of local news from newspapers and TV stations relevant to the Portland community, including stories from The Portland Beacon.

While I have seen a few instances where stories from Portland, Maine are accidently included, I am still very pleased with the local content I have found on this app.
