Joslyn Cassel Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: Joslyn Cassel

Grade: 12

Parents: Mindy and Jason Blaschka and Jeremy Cassel

Activities: Joslyn has participated with the Raider sideline and competitive cheer teams throughout high school. She is a member of the PHS National Honor Society and Captain’s Club. She volunteers her time with the Mascots and Jr. Raiders and our BIONIC team. She also works part-time at the Wagon Wheel.

Post-High School Plans: After graduation, Joslyn plans to attend Grand Valley State University to study pre-med and then to transfer to the University of Michigan to study neuroscience.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Joslyn is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
