Jade Russell Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: Jade Russell

Grade: 12

Parents: James Russell and Rebecca West

Activities: Jade has participated with the Raider sideline cheer, competitive cheer, and tennis teams throughout high school. She is also a member of the PHS National Honor Society. She is a Girl Scout and works part-time at McDonalds.

Post-High School Plans: Jade has been accepted to Western Michigan University and plans to study aviation to become a commercial airline pilot.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Jade is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
