Mackenzie Cathcart Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: Mackenzie Cathcart

Grade: 12

Parents: Laurie Cathcart and Jeff Cathcart

Activities: Mackenzie has participated with the Raider soccer and track and field teams throughout high school. She is a trustee of the PHS National Honor Society and Vice President of Student Council. She works part-time at an assisted living home as well as at a daycare.

Post-High School Plans: After graduation from Portland High School, Mackenzie plans to attend college to become a physical therapist.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Mackenzie is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
