The Portland Jr. Raider Football and Cheer program will be hosting a comedy show fundraiser in the Wagon Wheel Oak Room on Saturday, September 28th.
Tickets to the show are expected to sell out fast so get your tickets ASAP. Purchase tickets in advance by contacting Angie Edlund 952-457-3020 or Jonda at the Wagon Wheel 517-647-4989. Reserved seating only. Tickets $10.
The lineup includes comedians Kevin Kramis and Mike O’Keefe.
According to his bio from the Funny Business Agency, “Kevin Kramis has been performing standup comedy since he was an 18 year old kid. Too young to get into bars in the States Kevin would drive to Canada to perform at Leo Dufour’s Komedy Korner. Now he’s a regular in Las Vegas and also writes material for a number of comedians as well as a contributing writer for the Dr. Don Prep Sheet. Kramis is noted for his universal appeal, with stage presence and off-beat improvisations that captivate and involve audiences. Kevin has opened for Tim Allen, Jeff Foxworthy, Judy Tenuta, Gabe Kaplan, Richard Jeni, Billy Gardell, Pointer Sisters, Michael Feinstein, just to name a few.”
As for O’Keefe, the Funny Business Agency says, “Hailing from the occasionally unpleasant streets of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Mike O’Keefe is a young comic who prides himself on his original brand of silliness and sarcasm. A former radio host, punk rock lead singer, High School Student (he graduated) and current college student (he’s workin’ on it), O’Keefe made a name himself in the Michigan comedy scene with an appearance at the 2010 Laugh Detroit Comedy Festival. His energetic stage presence and irreverently charming material keeps audiences on their toes and in stitches.”
The doors will open 7:30 with the comedians taking the stage at 9:00.
50/50 tickets benefiting the Jr. Raider program will be sold prior to start of show.
