Coach Dan Lawless returns as the coach. Lawless said, "The St. Patrick's girls cross country team has 3 returning varsity runners including a solid group of juniors.  We also have one freshman runner who was part of the inaugural junior high cross country team last year, coached by Stacy FoxElster.  Amy Shaw was awarded our first ever 100 mile club for her summer running.  All four girls have been working hard at practices and are very motivated to improve their times."

Returning Girls runners:

Amy Shaw Junior 3rd year
Sophie White Junior 3rd year

Cozette Brown, Freshman, 1st year

Portland St. Patrick boys cross country team does not have any returning boy runners.  They have one new runner, Freshman, Martin White.  Martin has been working very hard and has shown great improvement already in the pre-season.  Martin has a great attitude and outlook he will have a positive impact for both the boys and girls teams.
