Raider Baseball Defeats Ionia for District Crown

After beating Belding 1-0 in the semi-final on Monday, the PHS baseball team defeated Ionia 3-2 in the MHSAA district championship game.

The Raiders advance to the regional bracket and will face Grand Rapids West Catholic on Wednesday at 5:00 at Ionia HS. West Catholic defeated Kenowa Hills 2-1, Coopersville 12-4, and Spring Lake 10-2 to reach regionals. According to their website, the Falcons of West Catholic are 14-7 this season.
