Portland Tackle Football Association Inc., better known as Jr. Raiders, has opened registration for the 2019 season. Jr. Raiders offers tackle football and cheerleading programs for 4th through 8th graders who live within the Portland School District.

Jr. Raiders will be holding their only in-person registration night of the year on Friday, April 26th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the VFW Post 4090 in Portland. Returning parents do not need to attend the in-person registration.
If this is your child’s first year with Jr. Raiders, the program would like to invite you to a first-year parents meeting. There will be two of these meetings on April 26th at the VFW. One at 5:30 PM and another at 7:30 PM. While children are welcome, they are not required. The meeting is intended for parents.
The Jr. Raiders are also hosting a burger night to help raise funds for our program from 5:00-8:00 PM on April 26th at the VFW. The VFW bar will be available for soft drinks or other needs. Burger baskets start at $10.00 and take out is available upon request.
VFW Post 4090 is located at 1324 E. Bridge St. in Portland.
The program graciously welcomes any volunteers who may be willing to donate deserts for the event.
