Little Raiders Preschool Open House set for March 28th

Little Raiders Preschool will host an open house on March 28th from 6:00-7:00. The open house will allow parents and perspective students to tour classrooms, learn about the curriculum and meet the teachers.

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is starting in April!

Philosophy

Little Raiders Preschool is committed to helping children gain the skills and confidence necessary to succeed in their school experiences and life. We believe that all children can and will learn new skills (at individual rates) in all areas of development.

Curriculum

In our program, children learn in all areas of development: social, language and literacy, math, science, creative arts, fine and gross motor skills by:

• Getting messy

• Investigating their questions

• Problem solving with their peers

• Meaningful play

• Using their imaginations

• Expressing their emotions

• Creating

• Exploring their community through field trips

• Both teacher and student led lessons

• Individualized lessons based on student needs and development based on daily observations

We pride ourselves on preparing our students for their future! Our curriculum is aligned with our DK-2 graders at Oakwood. The Little Raiders attend Library, use the gym and participate in all school assemblies and activities! Our Little Raider Preschoolers can also utilize the same services available at Oakwood such as our Behavior Coach, Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapists.

Preschool Options

Option One: Full Time

• Monday-Friday 8:35-4:00

Option Two: Part Time

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:35-4:00

Option Three: Part Time

• Tuesday and Thursday 8:35-4:00

Option Four: Half Time

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:35-12:30

Option Five: Half Time

• Tuesday & Thursday 8:35-12:30

Before and after school latchkey services are available through Oakwood’s latchkey program.
