Lady Shamrocks rout Fulton

On Monday, February 4th, the Shamrocks went north to visit the Fulton Pirates. St. Patrick's came to win, and took home a strong victory winning 45-20.

In the 1st quarter, neither team were very effective offensively, but the Shamrocks played better defense and won the quarter 9-4.

The 2nd quarter was tight, with each team scoring 11, going into the half 20-15 with St. Patrick's leading.

The Shamrocks continued to play good defense, and won the 3rd quarter 10-5. Led by Katelyn Russel with 5 points. St. Patrick's was leading 30-20 going into the final quarter.

The Shamrocks dominated the 4th quarter and finished strong, allowing only 2 points and scoring 15.

Offensive leaders for St. Patrick's were Katelyn Russell with 14 points 5 rebounds 3 steals and 1 block, Samee Teachworth had 9 points 6 rebounds and 1 steal and Mara Schrauben had 9 points 4 rebounds 1 steal and 3 blocks.

The Lady Shamrocks next play at Laingsburg on Wednesday February 6th.
