On Saturday, February 2nd, the Pirates of Pewamo-Westphalia visited Portland to take on the Shamrocks. It was a fantastic game, and the Shamrocks even took the lead towards the end of the 3rd quarter, but the Pirates were just too much for the St. Patrick's boys, beating the Shamrocks 54-37 in the end.

The 1st quarter saw a good close defensive game, with the Shamrocks hitting three 3 pointers to stay in the game, but PW won the quarter 13-9.

In the 2nd quarter, the Pirates outscored the Shamrocks 16-10, Sam Mauren put in 5 points for the Shamrocks and Brandon Scheurer put in 4. PW took a 29-19 halftime lead.

Led by Brandon Scheurers 9 points, the Shamrocks came out on fire and took the lead late in the 3rd quarter, and outscoring the Pirates 15-8. This left PW leading 37-34 going into the final quarter.

The Pirates were just too athletic and aggressive for the Shamrocks in the 4th quarter, and clamped down on the Shamrocks defensively, winning the quarter 17-3.

Offensive leaders for the Shamrocks were Brandon Scheurer with 19 points 7 rebounds 4 assists and 1 steal, Connor Cross had 7 points and 1 rebound, Nate Leahy had 6 points 3 rebounds, and Sam Mauren had 5 points 4 rebounds 4 assists and 1 block.
