PHS Alum Devin Miller’s Collegiate Wrestling Season Ends Early Due to Injury
Devin Miller, a 2018 PHS graduate, was off to a strong start in his collegiate wrestling career at Heidelberg University this season. Miller was wrestling at the 157-pound weight class and had a 10 win and 8 loss record as a freshman. Four of his victories were by pin and two were by major decision.
Heidelberg Head Coach Anthony Patrizi told the Beacon, “Devin has been a fantastic addition to our team. He is a very hard worker both on the mat and in the classroom. He exemplifies what it means to be a great teammate and what I want my program to be known for.”
Patrizi added, “Unfortunately Devin had a season ending injury at our Kalahari duals. He will start rehab when he gets back to school and I’m very much looking forward to next season.”
The Student Princes wrestling team is 8-4 in dual meets this season.
