On Sunday, both the Portland boys and girls varsity bowling teams had the opportunity to bowl in a tournament that was a Baker tournament. This tournament at the Royal Scot in Lansing consisted of mostly Division I and Division II teams
Portland’s girls finished in 3rd out of 16 teams and the boys team finished in 4th out of 20 teams.
According to boys coach William Armour III, “Both teams had the opportunity to grow as a team and it gives us a great benchmark to see what we need to work on. Based on what we saw it is going to be a great season for both Portland’s girls and boys teams.”
