Jordyn Smith Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: Jordyn Smith

Grade: 12

Parents: Timothy Gozalez and Jennifer Smith

Activities: Jordyn has participated with the Raider marching band, concert band, and pep band throughout high school. She is also a member of the PHS National Honor Society and our auditorium technical crew. Outside of school, she works at Tom’s, takes vocal lessons, is a member of the community orchestra, and is a member of the Hubbardston Dance Troupe.

Post-High School Plans: After graduating from high school, Jordyn plans to become a choir teacher and get a PhD in music education.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Jordyn is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
