American Legion Post 129 Recognition Dinner
On Saturday, October 13th, Legion Post 129 held a dinner to recognize its members for the years of service to the post and to the community. Nineteen members and their guests attended and certificates were presented.
The post was first charted in 1939 and will be observing its 80th anniversary next year. During this time its focus has been to assist veterans as they reenter civilian life and insuring that they know what benefits are available to them and o their family members, as well as community service.
The goals set each year are only achieved if you have committed individuals willing to participate to attain them.
For this reason, we'd like to acknowledge publicly some of our members who have done exactly that. and received the recognition due them at the dinner.
Although all of our members were not in attendance, for those who were present we'd like to acknowledge the following members for their exceptional commitment to the Legion and our community.
