Home for Dogs Event Canceled, Silent Auction Still in Affect

October 12, 2018

Coldwell Banker Frewen Realty has announced that they are postponing their annual Homes for Pets event that was scheduled for this Saturday, October 10th. The postponement is good news as it is mainly due to the fact that The Ionia County Animal Shelter has found homes for all of the dogs at this time. This is a great problem to have.

Frewen Realty plans to reschedule the event very soon. They said “We are still planning on hosting the Silent Auction with 100% of the proceeds going to The Ionia County Animal Shelter. Even though we had to cancel the Homes for Dogs project on Saturday, were still raising funds for the Ionia County Animal shelter. 100% of the donations will be contributed.”

The link to the silent auction is https://www.32auctions.com/CBFrewenHomes4Dogs. It features over 30 great items donated by local businesses and organizations, including:

  • A police car ride in the 2018 Christmas Parade

  • Private Movie Party at the Sun Theatre in Grand Ledge

  • Massages from Portland Clinical & Therapeutic Massage

  • Subs from J-Dubb’s Signature Subs

The auction ends October 20th at noon.
