Ken Cook Leads Team to Portland Men's League Softball Championship

Team Wagon Wheel's Ray Fox All Stars, managed by Ken Cook, took the league crown in this year’s Men's Softball Summer League. The team wrapped up the season with a 12-3 record, following a comeback 11-10 victory in walk off fashion in the bottom of the 9th. The comeback was led by Brian Krieger's game tying grand slam and aided by several heroic defensive plays including a diving catch by Jerrid Smith late in the game.

According to City of Portland Recreation Coordinator Milo Root, “That was the 4th consecutive title for Ken Cook's softball team.”
