Summer Fest Kicks Off June 22nd

Portland St. Patrick Catholic Parish will be hosting its annual Summer Fest June 22nd through 24th.

Originally started back in 1972 as Summer Circus, the event has grown tremendously over the years and now draws guests from near and far.

The 2018 Summer Fest will include a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, youth baseball tournament, volleyball tournament, live entertainment, several carnival activities for kids, and a great variety of carnival type food.

Portland’s own Sweet Caroline’s BBQ will be on site Friday and Saturday night serving up some fantastic BBQ.

If you are looking for some great live music, Skank will perform on Friday night from 7:30-11:30. This is a 21+ event, and there is a $5 cover charge.

On Saturday, Rage Under Age will perform a free show at 2:00, followed by Deejay Dill Pickle starting at 3:00 for the teen crowd.

On Saturday night, music begins at 6:15 with El Kabong, followed by the Journey Tribute Band. Tickets for Saturday night are $10.
