While we share just about all Beacon stories on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we feel it is important that readers should not rely on social media alone to receive the local news coverage you have come to expect from The Portland Beacon.

We offer two free email subscription choices to choose from. The first is a daily recap of all stories from that day. The second is a weekly newsletter that includes everything from the previous week.
