Raider Softball Drops Two to Byron

Portland dropped two games to a very good Byron softball team on Wednesday night in a non-league matchup.

In game one Portland lost 9 – 4. Jada Walton and Taylor Trieweiler led the offense both going 2 for 3 and Walton added a double.

In the second game of the day Portland lost a heartbreaker on a walk off home run in the bottom of 7th inning. Jada Walton went 2 for 2 with a double and Adrianna Novara went 2 for 4 with a double and a triple and 2 RBI’s. Natalie Linebaugh went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.

The Raiders are now 19 and 9 for the season. Portland will be hosting the Suzanne J Buche Cancer Awareness tournament Saturday beginning at 10:00 and would like to invite everyone to join them in supporting this worthy cause.
