Portland Area Service Group Announces Two May Fundraisers

On Friday, May 18th, the Portland Area Service Group will host a burger night fundraiser at Portland’s VFW Post 4090. The event will run from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Anyone interested in more information can all Beckie at 517-647-4004 or 517-526-2311.

The group will also have multiple events at the VFW on Saturday, May 19th. There will be walk in Bingo from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Euchre tournament from 1:00-4:00, and an all day Silent Auction and Bake Sale. Lunch will also be available. Participants must be 18 or over to gamble.

According to the groups Facebook page, Portland Area Service Group, formerly known as the Senior Center, is a nonprofit organization focused on assisting the local community by providing meeting rooms (with kitchen), a seasonal clothing closet, a local food bank, and medical equipment for those in need.
