Raider Softball Offense Too Much for Williamston

The varsity softball team exploded for 34 runs on 30 hits in just six inning as the took two games from Williamston last night.
In the first 3 inning run rule shortened game, Adrianna Novara threw a no hit shutout in the 15 - 0 win. Jada Walton led the offense going 4 for 4 with a double, a triple and 3 RBI’s. All starters had hits in the game with Abby Grys having a triple and Allison Summers and Sophia Novara adding a double.
In the second game of the double header the Raiders defeated the Hornets by the score of 18 - 0 in three innings. Leading hitters for the game were Taylor Trieweiler and Abby Grys who went 4 for 4. Adrianna Novara went 3 for 3 while Natalie Linebaugh and Jada Walton each added two hits. The win improved Adrianna Novara’s record to 13 - 3 and the team's record to 15 - 5.
The team will travel to Ann Arbor Skyline on Saturday for a tournament.
