Recycling Information for Danby and Portland Township Residents

Portland and Danby Township recycling will be held on April 28 and 29 from 8-5:30 each day. Drop off site is located at Municipal Supply on Industrial Drive, Portland. If you have newspapers/magazines/shredded paper, please drop them in one of the Paper Gators located at the schools and churches. The schools/churches to earn money from the paper; the townships pay to have it recycled.

A joint meeting between the Portland and Danby Township Boards will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the Portland Township Hall (located on the west side of the Fire Station). Residents who have questions, comments, or opinions about the current monthly recycling plan are encouraged to attend.

Correction: The original version of this post said that the meeting on May 9 would begin at 7:00 PM. That meeting will actually begin at 6:00 PM. The post has been updated.
