Portland Jr. Raiders Announce Youth Football and Cheer Registration for 2018
Are you ready for some Jr. Raider football and cheer?
The Portland Tackle Football Association, better known as Jr. Raiders, will be holding their one and only in-person registration night of the year on Friday, May 4th 2018, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the VFW in Portland.
The organization offers youth tackle football and cheer programs for boys and girls who will be in grade four through eight this fall.
Can’t make it to the in-person registration? That’s okay. The group encourages all parents/guardians to sign up their child up at http://tshq.bluesombrero.com/portlandtfa .
The in-person registration is primarily geared for first year parents, and those who would like assistance with the online registration process. Returning parents do not need to attend.
Information presentations will be provided for first year parents at 5:30 PM and again at 7:30 PM.
The organization will also be holding their 3rd Annual Jr. Raiders Cinco De Mayo Fundraiser Dinner throughout the registration event. Dinner will consist of two tacos (beef and/or chicken), beans, rice, chips and salsa. All food will be prepared by Maria’s Tacos. Plates are $8 and a portion of all sales come right back to the Jr. Raiders. Take out is available upon request and the VFW bar will be available for soft drinks or other needs.
