Ways to Receive Beacon Content

In today’s fast pace world, there are many different channels to receive information.

While we currently have no plans for The Portland Beacon to ever be a printed newspaper, we do offer several routes for readers to receive Beacon content at no charge. On top of going directly to our website, www.theportlandbeacon.com, we offer daily and weekly email newsletters. We also share our posts on Facebook, Twitter and now Instagram.

If you are interested in signing up for one of our email newsletters, please visit or subscription page by clicking HERE. These subscriptions are free, and you may end your subscription at any time, and we never share your email with anyone.

For those of you on Facebook, you can find our page by searching for “The Portland Beacon.”

If Twitter is your preference, we are tweeting as “@portland_beacon.”

Our newest channel to distribute local content to Beacon readers is Instagram. You can find us there as “theportlandbeacon.” Please bear with us on this platform as we are new to the Instagram world, and despite several requests for help, my children have not yet helped me fully understand this app. We are a work in progress.

If you have any suggestions on how to better reach readers, we would love to hear from you. You can email us at jim@theportlandbeacon.com.
