Shamrock Boys Bowling Finishes 11th in State

The St. Patrick Shamrock boys bowling team traveled to Battle Creek on Friday to complete in the Division 4 finals.

The team scored a total of 3057 in the qualifying round to come in 11th place. Only the top eight teams advanced from the qualifying round.

Bronson ended up winning the division 4 team championship over St. Charles, 1354 to 1283.

In individual action, St. Patrick’s Stephen Wernet finished 17th out of 60 bowlers in the qualifier, just missing the cut of the top 16.
