Shamrock Girls Roll Over Potterville

The Shamrock girls basketball team hosted the Vikings of Potterville on Tuesday night, and the Shamrocks won 45-25.

It was also parent night for the Shamrocks.

Score by Quarter:

1st-2nd-3rd-4th-Final

Shamrocks 13-10-9-13-45

Vikings 1-6-7-11-25

Katie Coyne led Shamrock scoring with 10 points. Lainey Schrauben added seven points, while Grace Trimmer and Chloe Cross each added six.

Keegan Hawkin led the Vikings with eight points.

After the game, Shamrock coach Al Schrauben said, "We are playing hard and creating a lot of opportunities, but we have got to do a better job with finishing around the rim. We are just missing too many shots that are almost uncontested near the rim. If we do that we are going to be all right. Defensively we have gotten a lot better, but offensively for some reason we can't make lay ups. "

The Shamrocks move to 10-6 on the year, and will travel to Dansville on Thursday night. The Aggies are 2-13.
