Raider Bowling Takes Both Wins from Greyhounds

Notable scores for the Portland boys were:

Jordan Fyan 189
Sammy Krausz 188
Emma Armour 184 Notable scores for Eaton Rapids girls were:

“Today’s match was a very competitive event with both teams trying to make a move to the top of the CAAC Blue Division,” Armour said. “Portland was successful in holding off Eaton Rapids. The boys and girls teams for Portland both scored 15 points after the individual games. This means if Eaton Rapids could win both Baker games they would tie. Portland's boys team won the first Baker 180 to 173 taking the match 20 to 10. Portland's girls team won both baker games finishing with 25 points. It takes 16 to win the match.”
Armour went on to say, “Both of our teams are poised to do well in the CAAC tournament and regionals. We expect to take both teams to states and several individuals as well. With us having 18 girls and 14 boys it is hard to pick what bowlers are Varsity and JV each match.”
After today’s match, the Blue Division standings for the boys are:
Eaton Rapids 7-1
Portland 6-1
Waverly 2-2
DeWitt 2-3
Eastern 0-4
Ionia 2-2
Grand Ledge 0-6
