Shamrock Boys Move to 3-1


The St. Patrick boys basketball team will enter the break with as three and one overall record, while standing zero and one in the CMAC conference.

The Shamrocks traveled to Vestaburg Saturday afternoon and won by a final of 62-39. Strong shooting was the theme of the day with the team going 22 of 38 from the field, 12 of 19 on two pointers and 10-19 on three pointers. There were also eight of 12 on free throws.

The Shamrocks were led by Nate Leahy with 22 points, seven rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Brandon Scheurer also had a nice all-around game with 21 points, five rebounds, five steals and four assists. Graham Wohlscheid had eight points while Sam Mauren had four points, five steals and four rebounds. Will Simon had four assists and three rebounds.

After four games, Brandon Scheurer has 79 points, 14 three pointers, 16 assists, 14 rebounds and 13 steals, while Nate Leahy has 66 points, 18 three pointers, 15 assists, 22 rebounds, and 13 steals

The Shamrocks will open the new year on the January 2nd at home against Saranac, January 4th at home against Fowler, and tentative make-up with PW at home on the 6th.
