The PHS Girl’s Golf team finished fifth in their regional competition on Thursday. The team score was 424.

Jackson Lumen Christi finished first, followed by East Jackson (389), Napolean (390), and Durand finished fourth with 400.

Head Coach Sarah Honsowitz said, “There were 13 total teams so 5th was a good finish. Low scorer for the Raiders was sophomore Julia Savage with a 101, Followed by senior Taylor Trierweiler 105. Other scorers were Macey Schrauben 107 and Allison Sandbrook 111. Despite the cold, the Raiders were able to hold off league foe LCC and the teams from Byron and Stockbridge.”

Honsowitz added, “I am very proud of the hard work and effort the girls put in to this season. Their dedication to the team and to each other was the foundation for what they were able to accomplish this season. I am so thrilled that our seniors get to graduate as conference champs and look forward to the sophomores leading us to a repeat next season!”
